What kind of sessions do you offer?
Between the two of us, we do it all! We have done everything from branding and headshots, couples and weddings, fresh 48’s and birth photography, every stage of motherhood, senior portraits, family, baby showers and other events and even last moments with loved ones. Whew!! We really love what we do!
Katie specializes in senior portraits and couples. Those are the subjects she particularly loves and finds joy in. Her senior sessions in particular are creative and celebrate individuality. She offers a limited number of weddings and events each year as well.
Hannah is most passionate about capturing motherhood in every season. Maternity, newborn, milestones and mommy + me sessions are especially meaningful to her. She also has a soft spot for children’s portraits and documenting the special bond between grandparents and their little ones.
Will both photographers come to my session?
We can both attend your session for an additional fee (typically $300). Please inquire for more information! We love to work together when we get the opportunity! Magic happens when one of us is behind the camera and the other is focusing on every small detail in front of the camera.
Do you have a studio?
We let our studio go! We found that our hearts are in capturing the natural, more personal moments unfold in your home. Newborn sessions become filled with unique details and memories. The same flattering poses and scrunchy newborn cuddles become deeply meaningful when captured in the chair you rocked them in and the nursery you created for them while they fluttered in your belly.
What time do you schedule sessions?
We schedule outdoor sessions 1-2 hours before sunset when lighting is soft and luminous. Indoor sessions are typically scheduled between noon and 3pm.
What do we wear?
Wardrobe for a session can easily become a DIY project. We don’t want that for you! We love to assist with wardrobe and styling. We consider it part of our service and welcome your questions. We have a style guide under the “DETAILS” tab to get you started.
How do we choose a location?
We will suggest locations based on conversation with you! We have a lot of options and favorite spots each season. We also love to use spots that are meaningful to you!
What happens if the weather doesn’t work out?
We can work with cloudy weather. Images taken on overcast days are absolutely stunning. However, in the case of rain, snow, high winds or severe cold we will reschedule!
How long will it take to get my final images?
Turnaround time is within four weeks. We do our best to get your photos back to you closer to 2-3 weeks and it depends on the time of year.
How do you deliver my gallery?
We deliver your final digital gallery via an email link. You are encouraged to download your gallery and back it up a couple times for safe keeping!
Can you help me print my images?
We are happy to assist with printing! We feel that it’s an honor to have our work on your walls and in your photo albums.
